The Machinery & Materials Procurement Department has supplied machinery and materials for the new construction and expansion of the overseas factories that manufacture Ajinomoto products, as well as the equipment and raw materials needed to ensure stable operation ever since Ajinomoto Co., Inc., started its overseas operations. Our knowledge of export documentation and our expertise in packaging technology have played an important role in supporting the globalization of the Ajinomoto Group. Business Operations

Assisting Global Companies with Overseas Expansion

Our primary business is procurement and export of the machinery and raw materials needed for the construction and operation of overseas production facilities. We identify the manufacturers that best meet the requirements of customers and carefully prepare estimates. Upon receipt of a formal order, we procure the equipment from domestic manufacturers, prepare the necessary documentation, and arrange for shipping. We have a well-established system for security, guaranteeing export management and accurate preparation of application for export licenses.

Machinery and raw materials for export are shipped only following thorough testing by domestic manufacturers but be assured that we stand ready to provide full support if anything should go wrong at the shipping destination.

The Machinery and Materials Procurement Department has proprietary shipment and packaging technology developed over the past 30 years. Today, we provide backup to factories in more than 20 countries around the world, including Brazil, Peru, and the Thailand, Indonesia.
