  • August, Shin-Nippon Commerce, Inc., is established with 500,000 yen in capital.
  • Begin exports of AJINOMOTO to the Philippines, Thailand, Mexico; iodine to Brazil; and food products and sundries to Mexico.
1961

  • Capital increased to 3,000,000 yen.
1965

  • Awarded Export Support Industry Certification from the Minister of International Trade and Industry.
